Advanced Technology Meets The Historic Lunenburg Opera House
There are times when the places and buildings we value most need help. Unfortunately, the age of these iconic properties often means that there is no record information that documents the endless changes, modifications and alterations performed over the years. SDMM was proud to partner with the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society providing a reality capture solution to support a new work tender package for future developments at the Lunenburg Opera House, including the creation of an as-built Revit model with a focus on the major structural elements.
This modern approach using the latest reality capture technology allowed the architects to prepare a comprehensive plan to guide this transformative renovation. Providing a visual twin of the building and surrounding properties in digital format made collaboration and communication between designers and constructors easier, reducing unnecessary delays and cost over runs.
