Ray is a Senior Design/Project Engineer with over 22 years of experience in the Civil, Municipal, and Water resources consulting engineering field. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering with distinction from Dalhousie University (1992) and his Masters of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo (1994). Mr. Landry joined SDMM in 2001 to develop and lead a civil engineering design team to complement the long history of survey consulting. Ray became a partner in 2004, served as vice president from 2006-2010 and currently holds the position of President of SDMM since 2010. He also served on the board of Directors for the Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia between 2008-2014; President for 2012-2013. Ray has provided civil servicing designs and construction services for 15 new LEED certified schools for the Province of Nova Scotia, new residential subdivision roads and services and over 200 commercial, multi-unit residential and institutional building projects in the last 5 years. Mr. Landry brings a wealth of experience working within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and is highly regarded by his peers, clients and the regulating bodies of the Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Water. His experience, knowledge, and working relationships with the local regulators will serve to expedite the design, approval and construction process of any project.
